We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily activities, fostering a supportive environment for our clients.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support individuals in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Skills
Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Strong IT skills for maintaining records and using relevant software applications.
Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
