Healthcare Assistant
Job Description
We need a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and experienced nursing team.
Duties to include phlebotomy, health screening, wound care, leg ulcer management, assisting with minor surgery and other healthcare duties.
To provide patient reception duties:-
i. Assisting the nursing team in its clinical and administrative activities
ii. Ensuring that the interactions between patients and other visitors to the surgery and the practice team are to the standards agreed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
GCSE (or equivalent) English
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths
Full (clean) Driving Licence
SKILLS
Computer literacy and telephone skills
Accuracy
Methodical
Consistency
Ability to prioritise
Able to liaise well with the team and the general public
Manage change well and cope well under pressure
Job Type: Part-time
