Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join Outpatient Network, supporting the delivery of high-quality care across a range of outpatient clinic settings. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist clinicians in providing safe, efficient, and patient-focused services. This role involves supporting patients through their outpatient journey from preparation and clinical procedures to recovery and discharge ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism are maintained across all NHS partner sites.
Main duties of the job
Support clinicians and nursing staff in the smooth running of outpatient clinics across multiple NHS partner sites.
Prepare clinic rooms and equipment in line with infection prevention and control standards.
Assist with patient admission, assessment, and discharge processes, ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity at all times.
Provide direct patient support during examinations and minor procedures under clinical supervision.
Accurately record patient observations, documentation, and data as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment.
Ensure effective communication with patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team.
Adhere to all Outpatient Network and NHS policies on patient safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
Participate in mandatory training and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the service.
