Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides free, specialist palliative care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with advanced progressive, illnesses, helping them to achieve the best possible quality of life.



Healthcare Assistant (Inpatient Unit)

37.5 hours - permanent

23,875 - 25,587 per annum, pro rata (dependent on experience)

Southport, Merseyside



An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join the Queenscourt Inpatient Unit nursing team.



The post holder will be responsible for delivering a range of patient care duties, with or without direct supervision from qualified staff, as well as assisting the clinical team in providing high quality standards of palliative care for patients and their relatives. The post will be based within the impatient unit however on occasion when required, may involve some work across other areas of Queenscourt. The position requires flexible working and will include internal rotation to night shifts as well as early and late shifts.
