As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, helping to create a safe and therapeutic ward environment. You will build positive relationships with service users, assist with daily living activities, support therapeutic and social activities, and contribute to individualised care planning.

The Acute Assessment and Short Stay Treatment Unit (AATU) will be a Female Only ward, providing single sex accommodation and has a multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, occupational therapy, recreational workers as well as the nursing and medical team.

  • Supporting service users with daily tasks and personalised recovery goals
  • Observing and reporting changes in presentation and wellbeing to qualified staff
