Healthcare Assistant
Job Description
The post holder works under indirect supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and undertakes tasks and duties delegated by the practice nurses or a suitably qualified registered professional. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of our diverse patient population and following our internal policies and procedures along with best practice. The nursing team works in partnership with the medical team to provide care to patients with undifferentiated conditions (minor illness and minor injury) at the point of contact or referring/signposting them to alternative appropriate services.
