Job Description
Phlebotomy clinics Blood pressure readings, including 24 hr monitoring ECGs Simple dressings that have been initiated by a trained nurse. Diabetic foot checks Performing NHS health checks Performing new registration checks B12 vaccinations Influenza vaccinations Chaperoning Room maintenance, including checking clinical surfaces are clean free of clutter Stock control in relation to doctors rooms, e.g. sample bottles and stationary Height and weight checks Assisting nursing team in maintaining highest standards of infection prevention and control Assist doctors with minor operations, gynaecology clinic and dermatology clinic, when required Waiting room posters/health promotion displays Daily monitoring of the vaccine fridge temperature Preparation of samples for collection Weekly and monthly checks of emergency equipment as per practice protocol
