Job Summary

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa328,000 depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 per week

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Neuro-Rehabilitation team with a competitive salary range on offer, up to \xc2\xa328,000.

Our 40-bed acute/neurorehabilitation unit has two dedicated therapy gyms and is designed for the best possible patient experience. Our team uses the latest specialist rehabilitation techniques, including cutting-edge robotic equipment and advanced exoskeletons, to help support our patients\xe2\x80\x99 recovery. Within the floor our specialists deliver neurological and limb rehabilitation with advanced robotic devices that look at gross movement and fine dexterity movement. We can offer a higher intensity of therapy to work towards improved outcomes for patients. There is also a Bariatric Bed Room and an Isolation Bed Room to offer specialist facilities to enhance comfort and clinical care, and controlled air flow respectively.

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our Neuro-Rehabilitation Team.

The Healthcare Assistant is a valuable member of the nursing team. Working within the scope of their role whilst supporting the registered nursing team, they are key in ensuring the best possible patient care is delivered. Under the supervision of the registered nurse the Health Care Assistants will deliver direct patient care, whilst ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and always working in a manner that promotes patient privacy and dignity.

Role information

This is a full time/part time, permanent position would require the post holder to work up to 37.5 hours per week.

This is a Monday-Sunday, Days/Nights/Weekends role with the following shift patterns:

Monday to Sunday Long Days\xe2\x80\x93 0730-2000

Monday to Sunday Nights \xe2\x80\x93 1930-0800

Bank Holidays \xe2\x80\x93 0730-2000 & 1930-0800

The maximum salary on offer for this opportunity would be \xc2\xa328,000 and would be dependent upon experience and competencies against the role requirements.

What will your duties include:

To provide a high standard of personal care to clients in a sensitive and respectful manner under the supervision of registered nursing Caregivers.

To monitor the physical and emotional well-being of all patients in order to be aware of changes and to alert senior colleagues as necessary.

To work with therapists/team members to ensure optimum cognitive, social, emotional, physical and functional recovery.

Maintain high standards of care as agreed and delegated by the registered nurse.

To ensure that rehabilitation goals, strategies and procedures are implemented and reinforced throughout the 24-hour period.

What we need from you:

To be NVQ L3 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate

Demonstrable clinical experience in or similar setting

Track record of achievement of objectives in present and past jobs in the clinical field.

Good communication and organisational skills

Experience working in a neurological or spinal rehabilitation setting.
