An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our Macular service within St Paul's at the Royal Liverpool Hospital on a part-time basis.The successful candidate will have experience within a hospital Ophthalmology unit and experience with Macular patients undergoing intravitreal injections.
Main duties of the job
The role will include general health care as well as assisting the specialist nurse practitioners and medical staff within the macular service.The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills,attention to detail and be able to work on a variety of IT systems.
Working Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Macular Service Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer. The post holder will undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by a registered nurse.
