Working closely with our Community Nursing Teams, as a Healthcare Assistant you will support and assist the senior team members to provide care to people in their own homesfor a wide range of conditions including diabetes, wound and end of life care. Our work is crucial to the community as we aim to prevent unnecessary hospital admission.
As part of our community nursing team we empower our staff to work autonomously and with flexibility by providing them with state of the artnew tablets for them to be able to check in from home, write their notes up on the go and allow them to not be trapped in an office base, so they can really enjoy working in their chosen community background!
We have a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) and a part-time role (30 hours per week) available.
This is an opportunity to put your NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent/appropriate qualification/experience to great use.With strongcommunication and organisation skills, and a flexible approach will ensureyou deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of theirhealthcare journey.
In this role, it is essential you have adriving license, allowing you to travel to service users' homes within the area of West Lancashire.
We encourage nursing students to apply who arelooking to broaden there knowledge in healthcare and gain some hands on experience in the community.
You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office
