Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Phlebotomist/ Health Care Assistant 24 hours - must be phlebotomy trained.

Phlebotomy

Simple wound dressing, including suture and clip removal NHS health checks Assist with the Long-Term Conditions physical health review Flu vaccinations ECG's Urinalysis Chaperone Support our nursing team with clinical tasks Stock control and ordering

Person Specification

Education & Qualification

Essential

English and Math's Level 4-8 / GCSE National care certificate Level 2 or Level 3 In Health and Social Care Subject (or willingness to work towards)

Desirable

Care Certificate in healthcare (Level 3)
Experience

Essential

Evidence of working in a busy environment Experience in a customer focused environment Previous experience in a healthcare setting Evidence of working as a member of a team Understands nature of the role and responsibilities
Good technology skills with knowledge of Emis, Docman and ICE
