We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our well established, friendly practice.
To be successful applicants must have excellent communication skills, organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times. The post holder must be a team player and have the ability to work using their own initiative. A good knowledge of SystmOne is desirable.
Main duties of the job
The role

• Provide high-quality care under the supervision of registered clinicians.
• Typical duties (as trained/competent): phlebotomy; ECGs; blood pressure and observations; height/weight/BMI; urinalysis; NHS Health Checks; vaccinations/immunisations support; smoking cessation and basic lifestyle advice; long-term condition support (e.g. QOF recalls, diabetes foot and BP checks); chaperoning.
• Accurate documentation on SystemOne assist with stock control, infection prevention and control, and recall clinics.
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement and practice initiatives.
