Fortius Clinic is looking to hire a
Healthcare Assistant
to join theirTheatre
Department
. This will be to work in their Surgical Centre inMarylebone, London.
Full-time permanent position.
37.5 hours per week.
Monday - Friday with on-call weekend availability.
25-30k salary depending on experience.

for every successful referral!!Principal Accountabilities
Assist with peri-operative care. Assist in all regulatory checks namely swabs and WHO ssc. Have a basic understanding of orthopaedic procedures carried out in the theatres. Liaise effectively with nursing staff, multi-disciplinary teams and other allied health professionals. Make appropriate and objective written entries in patient records, keeping them accurate and up to date. Assist the theatre administrator with the preparation and completion of chargesheets (revenue capture).
Minimum of 2 years previous experience in health care settings Previous experience in working in a theatre department Knowledge of orthopaedic clinical procedures (ideal) NVQ 3 in Healthcare (or equivalent) Care Certificate completion
