Healthcare Assistants - End of Life Urgent Care Service
Hours: Various
Salary: 23,875 FTE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, well-motivated individuals who are interested in end-of-life care.
St Luke's is delivering on its vision of a 'Hospice without Walls' with the support of its End-of-Life Urgent Care Team, as a Healthcare Assistant for the End-of-Life Urgent Care Service you will assist in supporting community-based end of life (EOL) patients in meeting their preferred place of care/death and prevent inappropriate admission to secondary care.
Whilst this role can be busy and challenging, there is great reward in helping make a real difference at the end of a person's life by caring for them in their own homes and preferred place of care/death.
