Our Staffline Medical Division

As a new division from January 2023, our Staffline Medical has gone from strength to strength. We recruit international nurses and AHPs from the Philippines and other countries, as well as managing our client\'s local recruitment needs. We operate across the island of Ireland and place candidates into permanent positions with a range of private hospitals and healthcare providers. As a result, we are continuing to expand our team.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

You will be Belfast-based with responsibility for local recruitment primarily in the North of Ireland. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. Staffline Medical is a new division within our organisation so you will be part of a small but enthusiastic (and busy!) team, with the skills to create new business, follow up on leads, manage client recruitment needs, and contribute to the growth, success and development of the division. Ideally, you come from a recruitment background with 2-3 years\' experience, preferably gained in a healthcare setting.

The Role

The ideal candidate will ensure they consistently exceed client expectations and provide quality tailored recruitment services to candidates whilst continually meeting targets. Key skills required include: client management; best practice and innovation to attract high performing candidates; business development.

The Healthcare Recruitment Consultant role will deliver on the following:

Sales Activity and Business Development

Including:

  • New business generation
  • Meeting sales / gross profit targets monthly/quarterly/annually in line with KPIs
  • Carrying out client visits - new and service as well as identifying and following up business leads
  • Supporting on proposal documents and tenders
  • Negotiating fees and rates in line with Company policy as well as complying with approvals / discounts allowed before issuing Terms of Business
  • Candidate sourcing
  • Sharing of healthcare recruitment experience as required
Client & Candidate Management

Including:
  • Identification of client needs and provision of regular feedback on quality of service
  • Vacancy management
  • Collation of information on clients such as number of employees, department, attrition etc, as well as identifying sale opportunities to include the cross selling of brands and services
  • Responsibility for candidate sourcing and talent pooling
  • Pre-screening and registering candidates in line with weekly KPIs
  • Preparing candidates before interview
  • Managing candidates from job offer to start date
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 2 years\' Recruitment Consultancy experience
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE\'s including English and Maths
  • Full, clean driving licence or access to transport as occasional travel is required
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills with proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Experience of working in a KPI-driven environment
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of managing a healthcare recruitment desk
  • Experience of international medical recruitment, in particular recruiting nursing and healthcare professionals to work in the UK/Ireland markets
  • Third level qualification/Registered Nurse (RGN)
  • Use of recruitment CRM system
  • Professionally qualified (REC)
Location

The role will be based in our head office in Belfast, however some travel may be required.
