Job Description

Supporting the Registered Nursing staff in the delivery of personal care and assistance for patients within University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Trust across both sites at University Hospital Coventry & Hospital of St Cross, Rugby.
Please be advised that the assessment centre and interviews will be held on 13th October 2025 for shortlisted candidates.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Sponsorship is unable to be supported with this role.

Main duties of the job

You must have either a Level 2 BTEC Diploma or extended Diploma or equivalent qualification or have previous care experience or experience in a person-centred & public facing role.
Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW)-Band 2-24,465 + enhancements.
As a band 2 HCSW you must have previous experience of care or experience in working within a person-centred & public facing role or already hold a level 2 health and social care related qualification.
Full and Part Time Posts available. The salary will be pro rata for part time staff.
Successful applicants will be placed on a waiting list until a suitable vacancy becomes available in the Trust.
