The Role:



As a Hearing Care Assistant, you will play a vital supporting role in our clinics, assisting our Audiologists in delivering outstanding patient care. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn and develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Patient Support:

Assist audiologists during patient appointments, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate patient records, manage appointment scheduling, handle enquiries, and assist with general clinic administration.

Hearing Aid Care:

Perform basic hearing aid maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, and provide patients with clear instructions on their use and care.

Clinical Assistance:

Ear examination (Otoscopy) Taking accurate ear impressions Performing screening audiometry Learning basic hearing aid fine-tuning and "first fit" procedures.

Wax Removal Support:

Assist with preparation for ear wax removal procedures (e.g., microsuction) under the guidance of a qualified professional.

Stock Management:

Assist with managing and ordering clinic stock and supplies.

Client Education:

Provide information and guidance to clients on ear health, hearing aid care, and available services.

Clinic Preparation:

Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are prepared and maintained to high standards.

Continuous Learning:

Actively participate in all provided training, demonstrating a commitment to expanding your knowledge and skills in audiology.
