And what we do is help people solve their heating and plumbing headaches and pain. Think of yourself as a heating doctor and your skills are the medication. Your customers are often people that have used our services for many years or have been referred by those customers in the first place. 42,500 - 50,000 a year

reflects how you'll bring knowledge, experience and energy into the team. When Smart Heating does well you will do better with the

You'll be a qualified technical person who loves heat engineering

You'll be a people's person who can talk to people confidently

You'll pay attention to detail, use initiative to spot the finer details and go the extra mile (because you know how important it is when people have trusted us in their homes and workplace)

You'll have installed, fixed, repaired and maintained lots of different heating things before and working on new stuff excites you.

Pick up van from unit and quick materials/stock check for the next few days jobs

On the road to 1st job

0830:

Gas boiler service for Mrs Leveritt and cuppa

0940:

Join other team member at marina to upgrade LPG pipework

1200:

Lunch (good bacon sarnie at the marina cafe)

1300:

Leak at rental property from toilet. Get that bosched so happy days for tenant and affordable fix for Landlord

1400:

Quote for replacement boiler installation and radiator upgrade

1445:

Round the corner, quick tighten up of tripping tap for Miss Olivia

1515:

Call out to boiler fault with no hot water to Mr James

1630:

Back to unit, tidy up and ops call to Hattie

1700:

Home for the day!

The Nitty Gritty:

We operate from our unit at the North of Norwich and have our admin base in Norwich. You'll have use of a Company van and tools for work and there is good parking for your vehicle.

We pay a full-time salary and we know the working hours can sometimes slip or the occasional late/weekend call out can be an inconvenience so we have Flex Friday twice a month as a way to make sure you have the right balance of home and work life.

We're looking for someone who can start immediately but equally if you are

THE person for the job

we will wait for any notice period you have to join us.

New Opportunity:

Although the company is not new and our core services are not new we are in a period of transition to sail the company into bluer waters of the heating market and as Chief Mate to the Captain you will help set the course and navigate those waters with your steady hand, cracking smile and can-do attitude.
