Plumbing, Heating Gas Engineer

to join our dynamic team.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for covering the Mansfield, Nottingham and Chesterfield areas, undertaking a variety of tasks including the repair, maintenance, and installation of gas and heating systems, gas appliances as well as general plumbing work.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform reactive repairs, servicing, and installations of boilers, appliances, heating systems and general plumbing work Issue notices and certificates required under gas safety regulations. Follow manufacturer instructions for servicing, repairs, and installations. Maintain accurate gas safety records using electronic or manual documentation. Obtain and manage quotes for stock and materials through the approved order system. Safely and courteously drive company vehicles and ensure their proper maintenance. Complete required training and certifications as per regulations. Maintain regular communication with the Manager and Works Co-ordinator to address issues and receive instructions. Accurately document completed work, including measurements and calculations through our systems Preferred but not essential: experience with renewable energy systems (ground/air source heat pumps).

What We're Looking For:

ACS qualifications/relevant Gas Safe tickets for domestic gas. Proven experience in a similar role. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
