About the Role
As a Heat Pump Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of air-source and ground-source heat pumps across Hertfordshire and London. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure energy-efficient and reliable heating solutions for our customers.
Your work will directly contribute to reducing household carbon footprints while providing homeowners with hassle-free heating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, and maintain air-source and ground-source heat pump systems.
Conduct diagnostics, servicing, and repairs of heat pumps and associated components.
Ensure all installations meet industry standards and building regulations.
Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on system operation and energy efficiency.
Maintain accurate job records and complete necessary documentation using a work tablet.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and plumbers, to complete installations effectively.
Uphold excellent customer service standards, ensuring a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in heating, plumbing, or renewable energy systems.
Proven experience in heat pump installation and maintenance (air-source and ground-source preferred).
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Basic IT skills for logging job information.
F-Gas Qualification (preferred but not essential).
G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification (preferred).
