Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of heating systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising both power and hand tools to ensure the efficient operation of heating equipment in residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications preferred but not essential.

Duties

Attending commercial & residential boiler break downs. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various installation tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair heating equipment, identifying issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, particularly when lifting heavy equipment or working in confined spaces.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex heating systems. Familiarity with both power tools and hand tools commonly used in the trade. A valid driving licence is desirable for travel between job sites.
