We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and practical skills in plumbing, carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. Duties
Install, service, and repair heating systems including boilers, radiators, and associated components
Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance
Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
Employ hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete tasks accurately
Perform basic plumbing tasks related to heating system connections and pipework
Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing or mounting equipment as required
Lift heavy components safely and assist with the movement of large parts or equipment
Conduct commercial driving duties for transporting equipment or materials between sites
Domestic gas mandatory
LPG, OFTEC, Heat pumps, Commercial gas, Commercial catering training courses provided
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Strong mechanical knowledge of heating systems and related infrastructure
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements and system calculations
Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling procedures in compliance with health & safety standards
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving tasks
Good organisational skills with attention to detail during installation and maintenance processes
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
