Heavy Haulage Escort Driver

Allelys Group is expanding, and we're looking for a reliable Heavy Haulage Escort Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires initiative, teamwork, and a practical approach to problem-solving.

In this position, you'll be part of the team responsible for supporting the movement of some of the largest and most complex loads transported on UK roads. From bridge sections to tanks, Allelys is one of the country's leading names in Abnormal Load Transport and Heavy Lifting.

you will be responsible for:

Escort abnormal loads across the UK road network. Assist with loading/unloading, securing loads, and ramp building. Support steering and navigation of specialist trailers. Maintain regular communication with drivers to ensure safety standards are met. Carry out manual handling tasks as needed. Work Monday-Friday, with frequent nights out and some weekend work.

You will have the following skills and experience:

Full UK car driving licence. Previous van driving experience (advantageous). Mechanical, plant, or heavy machinery knowledge (desirable). Physically fit, practical, and positive attitude towards work.
