Heavy Plant Operator - Runtech Ltd

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and motivated Heavy Plant Operator here at Runtech, based at our clients site in Hartlepool. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting and processing materials and must have experience operating heavy plant in a scrap handling environment.

Evidence of skills and experience will be required.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

Carrying out prestart checks prior to operating plant.

Operating various size Excavators up to 50t with scrap shears, rail crackers, selector grabs and magnets.

Processing oversize material to meet client specifications. Working on Runtech and client sites across the UK.

Essential Qualifications:

Full and clean UK Driving Licence

CPCS/NPORS or MPQC Excavator Qualification

Experience of operating mechanical shears (desirable)

Package:

40 Hours per Week

Overtime available depending on the needs of the business, which could include weekends

Rate of pay is 15 per hour

Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme

PPE Provided

The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing.
