Lantern Recovery Specialists PLC provide vehicle recovery and roadside services, both light and commercial. Our operations include plant machinery movement, HGV and multi-carrier transportation and industrial machinery needs. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Commercial (HGV) Roadside Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate shall possess:

Category CE Driving Licence and Valid CPC Previous experience in Heavy Goods Vehicle Recovery WIllingness to work on call every three weeks An inquisitive mindset Strong work ethic Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of the motor and recovery industry.
The candidate shall be responsible for completing all necessary paperwork, ensuring vehicles are tended to in a timely and effective manner, as well as keeping their company vehicle clean, and reporting any mechanical issues to management as soon as possible. Shifts are at a length of 12 hours with a shift pattern Monday - Friday.

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 07:00am - 19:00pm, with timings subject to final review.

This position includes a 3-weekly callout rota for weekend work

Responsibilities:

Ensure time keeping is maintained to an exceptional level; the customer is the priority! Attend work with an ambitious mindset to work to the needs of the business when necessary as well as providing an excellent service to our customers. Ensure all casualty vehicles are taken care of with exceptional due care and attention. Maintain and aspire to improve upon knowledge of different circumstances surrounding casualty vehicles. Ensure all equipment required to perform duties is immaculately maintained and taken care of. Accurately keep record of necessary paperwork.

Pay:

Basic Salary: 39,000.00

Commission: 5%, on 90% of Gross Revenue

Bonus Scheme: 100.00 Per Month

Overtime Paid at x1.5

Yearly expected earnings: 45,000.00 - 50,000.00+

Holiday entitlement is 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
