Job Details

We require a dedicated and enthusiastic team player to work alongside the farmer on this 160-cow farm in mid-Cornwall.

The successful applicant will assume milking duties for the herd, and ideally will be responsible for grassland management, breeding, foot trimming, mastitis control, herd health and record keeping in addition to general stock work. The herd calves between March and October and is milked through a 12:24 herringbone parlour.

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate recent experience in a similar role as well as being able to operate in a clean and organised fashion.

In return, an excellent package is on offer to include regular time off - day and a half each week, a very nice 3- bedroom farmhouse on the unit and a salary commensurate with the position.
