We're on the lookout for a professional and reliable

Class 1 HGV Driver

You'll be responsible for the safe, secure, and timely delivery of goods using curtain sider vehicles. Working as a key part of a professional logistics team, your role is essential to keeping supply chains running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver goods to various UK locations according to scheduled routes. Carry out thorough vehicle checks before and after each journey to ensure roadworthiness and compliance. Safely load, secure, and unload goods, using appropriate strapping methods. Keep clear and accurate records of driving hours, delivery notes, and vehicle maintenance logs. Maintain professional communication with dispatch teams and customers to provide updates and manage any delays. Follow all driving laws and adhere to company safety and conduct standards. Look after your vehicle - keeping it clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience driving curtain sider HGVs (Class 1 / CE licence). A clean driving record and up-to-date CPC and Tacho Card. Good route knowledge and an understanding of logistics best practices. A strong sense of responsibility, timekeeping, and customer service. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
