Summary

We are seeking experienced HGV 2 asphalt drivers to join our new asphalt team based at our Leyland depot. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting asphalt materials to various job sites, while ensuring timely deliveries. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining our reputation as a market leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

Safely operate HGV 2 asphalt tipper trucks to transport materials to designated locations. Perform pre-vehicle and post-vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload asphalt products as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

HGV 2 licence. (Essential) Valid CPC Card. (Essential) Valid Driver Card. (Essential) Minimum 1 year tipper experience delivering asphalt and tarmac materials, would be desirable. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service. Ensure safe operation of vehicles adhering to company policies and procedures
