Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV 2 driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience with flatbed driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a HGV driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
