Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated ndividual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks, including driving tippers and Readymix trucks along with quarry duties during less busy times. This role requires a proactive individual who can work as part of an effective team and have a positive attitude to safety and efficiency and have a flexible approach to their duties.

Responsibilities

Operate a ridged tipper and occasionally our Readymix truck for deliveries of quarry products within the Highland area. The successful candidate will also carry out a variety of duties within the quarry and Readymix concrete unit. Conduct routine checks on the vehicles being operated to ensure it is in good working condition. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing or communicating any queries or concerns from customers to their supervisor. Collaborate with team members to optimise delivery routes and schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and weekly work activities to enable accurate billing etc.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with experience in tipper or Readymix concrete delivery driving preferred. Proven track record as a delivery driver, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Practical skills with the ability after training and instruction to carry out a range of tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations while driving and working within the quarry environment. Pay: From 14.50 per hour
