Hillhouse Group Ltd is a well-established family business and a leading independent supplier of Asphalt, Readymix, Aggregate, Concrete Blocks and Pre-cast concrete products in Scotland.

We have a new vacancy for a Quarry Operative to join our team at our Lomond Quarry in Leslie, Glenrothes, Fife as a Quarry Operative reporting to our Site Manager. You'll join our operational team to help run the quarry and process plant safely and efficiently.

You will have the opportunity to work with both fixed and mobile plants to safely move and process materials with full training and support provided. You will learn and understand how raw materials are processed, while helping to meet safety and quality standards.

We are looking for a highly safety-conscious and motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of a team. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Good organisational skills. Ability to work to deadlines. Previous experience within a similar industry - preferred. Experience in the operation of mobile and static plants preferred. NPORS /CPCS for Excavator or Wheeled Loader is desirable. Good time keeping and attendance are essential
Hours are 40 per week at basic and 10 per week at time and a half.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
