Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. Experience with flatbed deliveries is advantageous, as you will be handling a variety of cargo types.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to company policies regarding safety and conduct at all times.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Ability to operate flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills for record keeping. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.

Experience

A current and valid HGV Licence. A current Hiab/ Crane and Slingers Licence Valid Tacograph Strong communication skills, with both our customers and office team.

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday Between 6am-8am 21.00-25.00 Depending on Experience*

Location - Worcester WR7
