Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV driver to work a Monday to Friday shift pattern, with weekend overtime available. The role is based in Hampton, Near Malpas and will require nights out where required (nights out paid tax free). The role will be delivering and collecting animal feed products from Feed mills and Farms throughout the UK. We are looking for somebody that can be flexible, drive different types of vehicles and willing to work with a team.

Duties

Must be able to work on own initiative. Operate a range of vehicles and trailers to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist in loading and unloading as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Driver in a similar role is essential. Valid C+E (Class 1) driving license with no more than 6 points. (Will consider Cat C Licence) Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: 46,000.00-54,000.00 per year
