Job Description
Job Summary
we are a family run company operating some 50 vehicles, mainly Volvos. Through continued growth we are looking for the following to join our team:
Class 1 HGV drivers (14.50 ph Mon-Fri)
Class 2 HGV drivers (14 ph Mon-Fri)
Overtime rates apply Saturday and Sunday
We are also looking at part time drivers and can accommodate most shift patterns
Duties
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring client satisfaction.
Experience
Proven HGV experience is essential. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
