HGV Class 1 Curtain Sider - Fixed Temporary Position

Westcott Sand & Aggregates are looking for a full time, fixed temporary HGV Class 1 Curtain Sider Driver.

Working Monday-Friday from 07:00-17:00 with daily overtime available.

Working location will be from our Uffculme base. Your working day will consist of varied delivery locations around the South West.

The successful candidate will be hard working, polite, have excellent communication skills with both customers and team members and have a can do attitude towards their role.

Duties:

- Safely operate an artic curtain sider lorry.

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

- Perform routine inspections and daily checks

- Communicate with the office team and clients regarding delivery status.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.

- Adhere to company policies and and procedures.

Experience:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

- Valid HGV Class 1 license.

- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record (no more than 6 points)

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour
