Due to increased demand and expansion, we have one new vacancy for an HGV Class 1 Driver (with nights out) at our Wardle Depot in Nantwich. The role is a long-term and secure contract.

HGV Driver Benefits

43,680-52,728 average annual earning equivalent. 0-4 nights out per week, with 26 non-taxable night out pay. Monday to Friday shift pattern. Opportunities to progress to ADR licencing / Tanker training available. Allocated Scania/Volvo with a fridge, microwave and inverter installed. Guaranteed 8 hours pay per day as a minimum. 10-30 per week loyalty bonus based on length of service after 2 years. 28 days annual holiday entitlement. CPC funding. On site vehicle maintenance unit. HGV Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE). Minimum of 1 year's experience, driving Class 1 with general haulage and nights out. Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Valid Digital Tachograph. ADR licence advantageous, but not required, with an uplift in salary available.

HGV Driver Responsibilities

General haulage with nights out. We run a diverse fleet of trailers, including curtain siders, box trailers, tankers, low loaders and flatbeds. Securing loads. Strong time management. Interacting with colleagues and customers in a helpful and professional manner. Use of route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver products safely and efficiently. Completion of daily maintenance checks on vehicles and trailers. Professional approach.

Shift Patterns

Monday-Friday shift pattern with nights out. Early morning start times e.g. 5-7am. Full time, secure, long-term contract.
