Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner, ensuring all deliveries are completed as scheduled. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Its a night shift with Amazon Relay

Roles:

We are looking for drivers for day shifts, night shifts, tramping for 2 days and tramping for 5 days.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 170.00-200.00 per day

12 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Overtime

HGV Driving: 2 years (preferred)
