HGV Class 1 Drivers

to join our team.

This is a non-tramping role. Routes are carefully scheduled with driver comfort in mind--you'll return to base daily unless a rare night out is pre-arranged (already included in the daily rate).

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in line with UK driving laws Carry out long-distance or multi-drop deliveries on time and securely Perform vehicle checks and maintain accurate records for compliance Adapt to traffic conditions, diversions, and changing delivery priorities Work closely with the transport team and customers for smooth operations Occasionally stay overnight (already factored into the 235 daily rate)

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card At least 1 year of Class 1 commercial driving experience Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, CD, TT codes) Confident with load security, safety checks, and UK transport regulations Punctual, professional, and safety-conscious
