Job Description

I'm looking for honest, reliable, HGV Class 1 Drivers, who are prepared to accept driving lorries as a way of life, not just a job. You would be driving a Volvo FH4, pulling a bulk tipping trailer, 44 tonnes GVW. Full commitment expected from Monday to Friday to include, therefore, nights away.

I have hired newly qualified Class 1 Drivers in recent times, with the cost of damage being quite substantial. However, if you can drive both forwards, backwards, and in a professional manner, I'm happy to be contacted by both new & very experienced, but you must live within easy striking distance of Salisbury.

Any successful applicant will be an early riser, & prepared to work the maximum permitted duty of 15 hours on occasions.

I have been continually advertising for a lengthy amount of time, with more failure to find suitable candidates than success. The average length of service, of all staff employed, is 10 years 6 months
