Established over 100 years ago, J. Exley Ltd are trusted experts in heavy lifting and machinery logistics across the UK and internationally. We are currently seeking a Class 1 Driver with CPCS or ALLIMI Lorry Loader Hook qualification and counterbalance forklift to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver role include:

Delivering and collecting a variety of consignments from locations throughout the UK Securing and sheeting high value delicate loads for transport Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods Operating forklifts and specialist plant (full training will be provided)

Qualifications/ Skills Required:

Full UK Driving License Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) License (Essential) 2+ years Class 1 driving experience Forklift Truck License Up to Date CPC and Digital Tacho card CPCS lorry loader or ALLMI lorry loader operator qualification Experience moving heavy and abnormal loads (Desirable) Slinger/ Signaller/ Banksman (Desirable)

Schedule:

Day Shift Monday to Friday
The job does require flexibility - early starts, late finishes, and nights away are all part of the role as is occasional weekend work. There is a generous daily and weekend overtime structure to compensate.
