LTD/Self Employed Role
Join our team at Rae Logistics LTD as a Tramping Driver, where you will play a crucial role in our family-run business specialising in same-day and next-day movements across the UK. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destinations.
Duties:
- Drive trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time.
- Adhere to safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Experience:
- Proven experience in commercial driving.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
