Hamblion Transport is a family run general haulage business with over 50 years experience of handling, storing and transporting goods across mainland UK. We are situated in Colchester, Essex with convenient access to main roads to and from the busy ports of Felixstowe, Ipswich, Harwich, Tilbury and London Gateway.

That being said we do travel all over the country including Scotland, Wales, Devon etc

We have a variety of vehicles and work, whether it is delivering pallets on a 26t rigid, or bricks on an artic flat bed.

We are currently seeking new team members to work with us, to our growing business.

Ideally someone with HGV Commercial driving experience would be preferred, but not essential.

Requirements :

A valid UK HGV 1 Driving licence Digital Tachograph Knowledge of London's roads and routes would be a bonus Valid CPC qualification. Operate a lorry in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Keeping the vehicle you are in clean, tidy and maintained. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Get all delivery paperwork signed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to company policies regarding safety, health, and environmental standards during all driving activities.
