We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities

Safely operate curtain side lorries across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring securement of goods during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or route changes Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service during deliveries

Qualifications

Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience in curtain side operations Valid UK driving licence suitable for heavy goods vehicles (HGV) or lorry licences as required Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and 2 years experience Good organisational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules and documentation
