We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. Responsibilities

Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated destinations. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, adhering to scheduled routes and deadlines. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery notes and route logs. Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered on the road.

Requirements

Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with delivery driver experience. Valid driving licence suitable for operating flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles. Knowledge of flatbed operations and securement procedures. Strong understanding of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan efficient routes. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks when necessary. A clean driving record with no recent serious violations or accidents.
