We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Operate Curtainsider lorries with Moffet forklifts and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods. Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring secure transportation of items. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any vehicle issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any delays. Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Cutainsider Moffet forklift lorries. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for cargo securement. Excellent organisational skills to manage routes and schedules efficiently. Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo safely. Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
