Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. Experience with dock trailers is an advantage.

Based in Meltham. Main work is out of Immingham docks.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role Valid class 1 with no more than 6 points Held licence 2 years , over 30 for insurance . Valid CPC and digi cards Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly. Good physical fitness, as the role may require lifting heavy items and being on the move throughout the day.

Pay: 750.00-800.00 per week
