Job Description

HGV Class 1 Driver - Tramping

Waiting List Open | Structured Operation | High Standards

We operate a

structured haulage operation with clear standards and systems

selective about who we bring into the team

when a position becomes available

within our tramping operation.

This opportunity is suited to drivers who value:

Structure and routine Clear communication Well-prepared vehicles A calm, professional working environment
If you are looking for a quick start, short-term work, or a loosely managed operation,

this will not be the right fit

.

How the Waiting List Works

Applications are reviewed and shortlisted Suitable drivers are placed on a

priority waiting list

When a position opens, shortlisted drivers are contacted first Final selection is made after interview and internal review

Vehicles & Driver Support

reduce stress, improve safety, and support professional drivers

, not to create pressure:

360 camera systems and reversing cameras to support safer manoeuvring and protect against false claims Professional HGV sat-nav to avoid unsuitable routes Digital job instructions delivered via in-cab terminal -- no confusion or last-minute changes Text-to-speech messaging via Webfleet for safe, hands-free communication Clear digital records of instructions and updates for transparency and fairness

Driver Safety & Fairness

Vehicles are also equipped with driver-facing safety systems designed to

detect fatigue and distraction

and provide early warnings.

These systems are in place to

support driver safety and protect against unfair blame

, not to micromanage day-to-day driving.

Footage is reviewed only when there is a safety event or incident.

We believe in

evidence, not assumptions -- for drivers and management alike

.

How do you feel about working in this type of environment? Our vehicles are equipped with safety technology (cameras, digital instructions, fatigue alerts) designed to support drivers and protect them in incidents. How do you view this? How do you normally deal with unexpected issues during a shift (delays, site problems, route changes)? Why are you interested in joining a waiting list rather than starting immediately?
