Job Description
We are are successful and fast moving machinery removal company based in Middleton, Manchester, looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 HGV driver with HIAB/Lorry Loader qualification.
Please note that we are not looking for general delivery drivers - the role involves moving heavy machinery using various plant (FLT, Versa lift etc) and you will be part of a team, including engineers.
We offer good rates of pay including an enhanced overtime/weekend rate and working away benefits.
The role consists of the following:
Deliver and collect machinery and equipment which make up the clients order using a combination of vehicles. Safe loading and unloading of orders, machinery and equipment on and off company and customer premises. Comply with current VOSA drivers' hours regulations and company procedures including keeping accurate records and tachographs. Collation of orders, machinery and equipment prior to loading and delivery. Upkeep and maintenance of company delivery vehicles. Assist the Skilled on site workforce and/ or customers to transfer and position machinery on site when required. Comply with the company health and safety policy. Carry out general warehouse duties as required. Carry out any other related duties, within reason, as requested by company management.
