Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team at Absolute. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who values safety, efficiency, and quality customer service. You will be responsible for transporting goods locally, working within a shunting team. We've got a variety of shift patterns available to suit. [E.g. Responsibilities

Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and compliant manner. Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain logs. Ensure all deliveries and collections are made on time and in full. Adhere to all road safety laws and company policies. Maintain communication with transport office and report any issues promptly.

Essential Criteria

Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence CPC certification and valid Digi Tacho card. Class 1 driving experience. Strong knowledge of UK road networks and driver regulations . Good communication and customer service skills. Flexibility driving across other vehicles ie rigid, Lutons, LWB Vans etc.

Desired criteria

Minimum 12 months of Class 1 driving experience preferred. Experience driving Class 2 vehicles and Vans.
