Job Description
Alcor Handling Solutions are a Mitsubishi Forklift Truck dealer based in Gateshead and have now been established for over 40 years. We offer a full range of material handling equipment, access equipment and floor sweepers. We provide service, sales, parts, hire and driver training across the North East.
Job Overview
We are seeking a HGV class 1 driver to carry out deliveries and collections of material handling equipment and floor cleaning equipment to and from our depot and customer sites.
The working day is predominantly 8 hours, however, overtime and in some cases nights away will be required.
As and when required other duties will involve general housekeeping, parts deliveries and assisting the service department.
Qualifications
Driver CPC required Digital Tachograph license 2 years minimum class 1 experience preferred Familiarity with materials handling techniques and best practices Valid forklift certification is an advantage Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
